The Tanks - Summon Creature

"..The Tanks bring the noise like a Washington, DC 1980’s basement-show a flashback.."
-cokemachineglow.com

"..Bass heavy 3 piece rock from Iowa City. The songs sound like a great ship moving through the ocean.."
-KURE 88.5

"..Their music features over-driven bass and no guitar. While that might sound like it couldn't forge something worthwhile, it does. Amazingly you barely miss the guitar as the bass provides kinetic riffage all its own. There have been others who are forgone the six-string but rarely does a group do it so efficiently and effectively. The Tanks produce caustic punk with math rock elements and massive percussion that will keep you on the edge of your seat, though I can't imagine anyone sitting while "Summon Creature" is played."
-Smother Magazine

"The Melvins meet The Fall. Simple, heavy, cool. Buy this at any cost."
-Hybrid Magazine
